Last Night

This will be a short one friends, as we posted about our friends Nothing had a show last night upstairs at Adobe Cafe. The best way for us to describe the outcome is to quote the knowledgeable Stephen Bush, "never have i seen a first show so good, or well attended". We agree...great job guys!

WE know...weird name for a post, but it's actually the name of a band, and we happen to be friendly with it's members. Last week Nothing was one of the band's chosen for the Urban Outfitter's Music Monday Blog, just wanted to give them a shout out, for two reason's:

1. They have been working super hard and deserve recognition
2. They are playing a show upstairs at Adobe Cafe next Tuesday the 12th, you ALL should go!

Chinease Restaurant Week

Upset because Restaurant Week(s) is over? Well dry those tears because Philadelphia has more in store for you in the way of cheep food! This week is Chinatown District Restaurant Week! Most of Chinatown's restaurants will be hosting $20 dollar dinners and $15 lunches as part of the promotion. So dust off those chopsticks and feed your appetite for the Far East!

Amuse Your Mouth

There have been some mixed reviews about the new restaurant Amuse on Broad and Arch Streets behind the MSB in Center City. We must say that the menu is expanding on Thursday and with the tasting that we did this weekend of the new menu, worth the trip! The price range fits any one's budget and there top shelf alcohol is some of the cheapest in the City!The highlight of the new menu for us was the lamb chops with lamb shank risotto and stuffed peppers. The new menu is debuting this Thursday at dinner.

End of the Summer of Radness...

As hard for us as it is to admit, the summer is over, and if you remember our post A City Legend Turns 10 a few moths ago, Making Time kicked off the "summer of radness". To end this epic summer that started at Voyeur with Liquid Liquid, Making time is sending off the hot season at the Naval Yard with the epic LCD Soundsystem, and the afterparty with Simian Mobile Disco at the OX. So lace up your gladiator sandals, throw on those cutoffs and end the summer right!

SlayAway Plan September 30

Happy Fall, the 3 of us are SUPER excited about a party that were hosting September 30th (Thursday) at Medusa. Our good friends Aaron Ruxbin and Shane Sixten are throwing a release party for there new mixtape SlayAway Plan. Aaron and Shane along with Harry Mazzio and the very loud DJ Sega will be on the 1's and 2's all night. There will be free copies to the first 50 guest. Your lovely 3 Girls with be Mc's for the night. Do you like DUBSTEP? Hell, do you like fun? ...Thats what we thought, its a no brainer, this party is going to blow your ear drums (in a good way)!
